‘Pest Control’ is available for your listening pleasure

I’m happy to announce that my short story ‘Pest Control’ first published in the original limited edition Cthulhu Deep Down Under anthology that spawned the IFWG Publishing series edited by Steve Proposch, Bryce Stevens and Christopher Sequeira has gone live for free today on The Night’s End podcast for your listening pleasure. My story aside, the podcast is a treasure trove of horror stories, and if that’s your thing, it’s worth having a look/listen and considering becoming a patron or subscriber.

“Greater Garbo” published in Galician in Spain

In further translation news, I’m happy to see that my short story “Greater Garbo” – which was recently published in Galaxies Science Fiction in French – has now been translated into Galician (also known as Gallego) and published in the Spanish SF magazine, Nova Fantasia, as “O Grande Garbo”. Nova Fantasia is an online Galician language science fiction site that covers science fiction across various media, similar to io9. The English version of “Greater Garbo” is available from all the usual book outlets in my short story collection Shadows on the Wall, published by IFWG Publishing Australia.

“Greater Garbo” reprinted in French

Translation news: My short story “Greater Garbo” – originally published in the now defunct glossy newsstand magazine Australian and NZ PC User – has been translated and published by Pierre Gévart in the French magazine Galaxies Science Fiction. This is the third French translation of my work. The English version is available from all the usual book outlets in my short story collection Shadows on the Wall, published by IFWG Publishing Australia.

Oz Comic-Con Melbourne 2022

I was delighted to be a guest at Oz Comic-Con on the 11th-12th June at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. I participated on a fantastic panel with my writing buddies Jason Franks and Tracie Mcbride, and we sold a bunch of books on the IFWG Publishing Australia table.

Thanks to everyone who came along to say ‘hi’ and bought a book or two. And thanks to Kate Eito, Emily Ascough, Matt Kors, and all the volunteers for looking after us. And to Jimmy Eaton for emceeing our event. Looking forward to next time!
